HSBC provides financing to 5N Plus Inc. for operations and the acquisition of AZUR SPACE

Our Montreal, Germany, UK and Hong Kong offices advised HSBC Bank Canada in its US$125m continued operational financing of 5N Plus Inc. and on financing for its acquisition of AZUR SPACE, a European leader in the development and production of solar cells. The acquisition will help 5N Plus Inc., a leading global producer of semiconductors and performance materials, expand its growing position within the renewable energy sector.
The syndicated credit agreement was executed in March 2021 and the acquisition closed on November 5, 2021.
